CHARLESON VINCENT

Co Founder & Non Executive Director

Charleson hails from Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. He was one of the pioneers in the New Thessalonian Apostolate (NTA).  Charleson went the Methodist Boys’ School, Sentul, and wanted to become a Catholic Priest when he was done with his studies.

In the year 2000, he was sent to Calcutta, India, to work with Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity as part of his training with NTA. He was with the Missionaries of Charity for over a year , and it was here that he decided that he wanted to continue doing this kind of work , but in his own back yard in Malaysia.

Together with Dave (NTA’s Founder), he started working closely with drug addicts, gangsters, sex workers, and troubled youth in places like Chow Kit, Brickfields and Sentul. This he did while still working as a full-time Pizza Delivery Rider and as a part-time student studying computer repair and maintenance.

Today, Charleson is married with 3 beautiful daughters and works as an Customer Service Engineer, in an IT Solutions Company.

He is also a Non Executive Director of NTA Social Enterprises.
